Chapter Transfer

Below are the steps outlining how to transfer your membership from one BNI Chapter to another.

What to Expect

1. Please ensure these conditions are met prior to submitting the transfer form:

  • Resign in writing to the Membership Committee of your current chapter.
  • Ensure that your venue fees are up to date and you are in good standing in your current chapter.
  • Send your latest traffic light reports to the Membership Committee of the proposed new chapter.

2. Submit a new BNI application form here to the chapter that you would like to transfer to.

3. The Membership Committee of the chapter will process the application.

4. If the application is accepted, the following fees will apply:

  • If less than 10 months of membership is remaining, a renewal payment is due and the remaining months are added to the 12 month renewal.
  • If more than 10 months of membership is remaining, then a one-off transfer fee of $370 is due.
  • If you are transferring your membership to another chapter in the month before or following your renewal date, a 12 month renewal payment is due, plus a $370 transfer fee.

5. An invoice will be issued for payment (payment can be made in monthly instalments).

6. Once complete, you will be inducted into the chapter.


Please note: 

MSP (Member Success Program) training must be completed.
Participation in the chapter’s BNI Passport Program or other internal on-boarding processes will also be requested.
